About Rainbow Labs
Rainbow Labs is a nonprofit organization based in Los Angeles that empowers LGBTQ+ youth through creative programs designed to foster identity, belonging, and leadership.
Founded in 2021, Rainbow Labs offers free programming for Queer and Gender Nonconforming youth ages 12–18 across East and South LA. Its signature initiatives include the Storytelling Lab, Sports Lab, and Leadership Lab — each designed to provide mentorship, peer connection, and safe spaces for personal growth.
Rainbow Labs is youth-centered, culturally responsive, and built on the belief that every young person deserves to be seen, supported, and celebrated. Through in-person Labs and online meetups, Rainbow Labs meets youth where they are and helps them thrive — on their own terms.
